Case recognition

  • White edge aligned

    Flip the aligned white edge down to the bottom layer

    The edge is already aligned; no U adjustment is needed, so you can flip it directly.

    Turn that face 180° (e.g. F2) to flip the white edge down to the bottom layer. Principle: a half turn around that face's axis carries the top-layer edge straight down, while the side sticker stays on that same face the whole time — so after the flip white faces down and the side color lands right against the center.

    Flip to bottom layer

    Turn that face 180° to flip the white edge from the top layer to the bottom face, with white facing down and the side color aligned with the matching center.

    Align with {uAlgo}, then flip the white edge down to the bottom layer

Principle: the bottom-layer cross slots are fixed directly beneath each center, so you must use U first to bring the side color in line with its center — only then will the flipped edge land in the correct slot; otherwise it drops under the wrong center.
